Starting Salary Of CA In India Per Month​ For A Fresher With 0 – 5 years Experience

As a fresh CA, the average salary ranges from Rs. 37,500 to Rs. Rs. 50,000 per month or Rs.4.5 lakh to ₹6 lakh per year. 

As per the reports of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the average CA salary offered through campus placements has risen from Rs.8 lakh to Rs. 11.50 lakh per annum in 2024.

Starting Salary Of CA In India Per Month After 5 Years Of Experience

With the significant experience, yearly raises, and promotions, an accomplished CA can earn anywhere from Rs. 6 Lakhs to Rs. 16 Lakhs per month i.e. ₹80 lakh to ₹ 2 crore per annum. The scale of the company significantly influences CA salaries. Some CAs also start their practice after gaining relevant experience in reputed firms.

In India, the highest salary ever reported for a chartered accountant is Rs. 60 lakh annually.

Senior-level CAs might earn between Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 2 crore per year after ten years of experience. 

For example, Bharti Airtel pays their senior CA between 12 and 22 lakhs.

Location

The sector the CA works in can affect their salary. This means that CA can have different roles and responsibilities namely oversee the duties of the accounting team, manage accounting systems and processes, prepare monthly financial reports, reconcile income statements, handle budget reports, detect and prevent fraud, provide financial advice, guide and advise clients on tax planning, etc. The salary structure of any CA depend on which sector he works and how efficiently he works.

Size and type of firm

The size and type of firm the CA works for can affect their salary. 

Experience

The CA’s experience can affect their salary. 

What is the salary per month for ICAI campus placement 2024?

Second Round Campus Placement Program is a platform specifically designed and aims to provide placement opportunities to the Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants (NQCAs) who could not get job during our main Campus Placement Program held in August- September 2024. This program is an extended dimension to the existing initiative i.e., Campus Placement Programs, undertaken by CMI&B to provide employment opportunities to the Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants, organized twice a year.

Eligibility Of Candidates For Second Round Of Campus – 2024

NQCAs who could not get job during our main Campus Placement Program held in August-September 2024.

  • In case of not being selected during main campus placement program (August- September 2024), but wish to participate, candidates need to update information appearing in his/her login.
  • NQCAs who have already been selected in bigger or smaller center during our main Campus Placement Program held in August-September 2024 and finally signedthe declaration are not eligible to apply for second round of campus placement program.

Guidelines For The Candidates

In the event of not being selected in bigger centre & smaller centre but wish toapply for second round of campus, you can do so through portal on 5th-13th Nov, 2024.The candidate have to register online at https://cmib.icai.org/.

A Candidate can select only Four (4) recruiting entity irrespective of thenumber of recruiting entities shortlisted them.

Once finally selected by any company and accepting the offer by signing the offer letter, the candidate cannot appear for any other interview in second roundof campus or accept job from the recruiting organization that have interviewed him/her earlier.

The last dates for filling up online application forms for the candidates, shortlisting details, consents for appearing in the interviews of the various participating organizations will be as per the details given at https://cmib.icai.org/.

The Candidates have to apply online at https://cmib.icai.org/ for the Programme under the head ‘Campus’.

The Submission of the form would be complete only after clicking the Second round of Campus Tab after filling the Registration Form”.

Candidates can choose only one centre.

There is no participation fee for the candidates.

Interviews will be conducted through virtual mode.

Timing:- The timing for the Interviews at all days shall be from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Interviews will be conducted through virtual mode by the platform provided by the
participating organization as per the roster prepared by ICAI.

Link for attending virtual interview will be shared by participating organizations to all
consented candidate on their registered e-mail id.

ICAI simply acts as a facilitator to bring the recruiter and NQCAs together
