Judges of Supreme Court who rendered Verdict in Ayodhya Case are Invited to Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

The five judges of the Apex Court who handed down the landmark decision in the Ram Janmabhoomi case more than four years ago have been invited to the consecration of the Ayodhya Ram mandir, also known as the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, on January 22.

In2019, a five-judge panel that included former Supreme Court judges Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer, former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, former Chief Justice of India SA Bobde, and former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud ruled in favor of a trust building a Ram temple at the disputed site.

More than fifty jurists, judges, former chief justices, and eminent attorneys are among those invited. Among those invited are former Attorney General KK Venugopal and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta.

Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram temple

On January 22 at 12:30 pm, the Ram temple will hold its Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries are expected to attend.

The ‘Pran Prathistha’ ceremony, which takes place on January 22, will mark the conclusion of the ceremony that precedes the consecration ceremony, which has already begun at the temple.

Additionally, plans have been made for the ceremony to be screened live on big screens in public spaces both in India and overseas.

Ayodhya’s seven-day Vedic rituals got underway on Tuesday in anticipation of the eagerly awaited January 22 Ram temple consecration.

Shri Anil Mishra bathed in the Saryu river and atoned for all of his possessions on the first day of the Pran Pratishtha. Then he worshipped Lord Vishnu and at the Ram temple used ‘Panchgavya’ (milk, urine, dung, ghee, and curd) to perform ‘Panchgavyaprashan’.

The idol-making location also featured a performance of “Karmakuti Homa,” and the pavilion featured recitations of Valmiki’s Ramayana and Bhusundiramayana. Furthermore, on Day 1, ‘Godan’, or the donation of a cow, was carried out as a form of atonement from Dwadshabd Paksha.

The Lord Ram Lalla idol was toured on the second day after a number of rituals were carried out on the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi temple grounds.

The idol of Ram Lalla was placed in the sanctum sanctorum, or Garbh Griha, of the Ayodhya Ram temple on the third day. On Wednesday, the 51-inch statue, created by Arun Yogiraj, was carried into the temple. At 1:28 p.m., the installation was completed.
