Sukesh Chandrashekhar Challenges Jacqueline Fernandez’s Plea in Delhi Court

Following Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s challenge to the ED complaint and their supplementary charge sheet in the court in the Rs 200 crore fraud case, Sukesh Chandrashekhar moved to the Delhi High Court.

According to the petition, the actor knocked on the doors of the Delhi High Court to get the money laundering case against her canceled after being presented as the prosecutor in the case filed by the Delhi Police. Sukesh Chandrashekhar, her ex-boyfriend, has since filed a plea and denied all of her allegations.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s petition

In his plea to the Delhi High Court, Sukesh has called Jacqueline an accused in the PMLA case and said that she selectively makes witnesses in their case. The plea also states that the Bollywood actor has multiple times asked Sukesh to give statements to protect her dignity.

“I would also make it clear that as the applicant has alleged, that I have outraged her modesty or tried to Threaten or Intimidate her, is completely false. This has been filed with a malefice intention by the applicant,” read Sukesh’s application. Chandrashekhar has also claimed that the Bollywood actor has deposed her Selective statement which helps only in her Interest, and the same would be proven during the trial in the ED Case.

The plea of Jacqueline Fernandez
According to Jacqueline’s petition, she was not a party to any crimes or guilty of any money laundering offenses as defined by PMLA 2002. It further states that there is no allegation made in the complaint filed by Aditi Singh, the wife of the former owner of Ranbaxy, that Jacqueline Fernandez, the petitioner, actively encouraged or helped the primary accused, Sukesh Chandrashekhar, to commit the alleged crime.

We would like to inform you that Sukesh Chandrashekhar is presently being held at the Delhi Tihar Jail. Between June 2020 and May 2021, he is charged with extorting Rs 200 crore from Aditi Singh. According to Jacqueline’s Delhi High Court petition, the ED’s evidence suggests that the actor is, in a sense, Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s innocent victim.
