Using the E-Invoice Verifier App

  1. Download the app from the Google Play Store (iOS version available soon).
  2. Scan the QR code on the e-invoice.
  3. Verify the information embedded in the QR code.

  1. PAN-based Search: Search e-invoices by PAN number.
  2. Automatic E-Invoice Exemption List: System-generated list of exempted suppliers.

Implementation Timeline

  1. The E-Invoice Verifier App is available for download from September 2024.
  2. E-invoicing is mandatory for taxpayers with a turnover of over Rs 5 crore from October 2024.
