The National Investigation Agency is a specialized counter-terrorism law enforcement agency in India. The agency is empowered to deal with the investigation of terror-related crimes across states without special permission from the states under a written proclamation from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Comments on final reports on cases wherein the authority is competent to pass orders.
- Carry out an investigation of all prosecution branches of his region once a year.
- Prosecution of cases and assisting in all matters of the court.
- Ensuring submission of progress reports of the cases pending before Special Judges of the National Investigation Agency.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University;
- Ten years’ experience in the Prosecution of Criminal Cases.
